Brian Smith gets his first Late Model win at Peach State
Jefferson, GA (June 18, 2005) -- It has been a great year of competition at Peach State Speedway in 2005 in the Pro Late Model division. Brian Smith of Cleveland, GA. took the lead from Dennis Wilder of Jefferson, with five laps to go and got his first ever Late Model win at Peach State Speedway Saturday night in the 40 lap feature.

of the season in the Mini Stock Feature.

FAST AND FURIOUS -- Mike Carp took the win over Gary Allen in the 15 lap
feature in the Fast and Furious division.
Peach State returns to action Saturday, June 25th. The 1/2 mile oval is please to welcome home the Georgia Asphalt Series (GAS) for Pro Late Models in the Toyota Tundra 100 presented by Jones Recycling and WNGC Country 106.1 FM radio.
In addition to the GAS Series, the Iceman, Sportsman and Mini Stock classes will compete. There will also be a Reverse Race, Chain Race and 4 and 8 Cylinder Demolition Derby's plus Fireworks.
Fans will be able to meet their favorite WNGC Country 106.1 DJ's as the station will be doing a live remote broadcast from the speedway.
Track side parking will open at 3:00, so fans will be able to tailgate. Grandstands will open at 4:30, with racing at 7:00. Admission will be $15 for Adults, $10 for Senior Citizens and ages 12-15. Under 12 is free.
