Perry has Peach State's Number With GAS Win

Jefferson, GA (September 19, 2005) - Jefferson's Kevin Perry, took another win at his home track in the Georgia Asphalt Series - Atlanta Freightliner 100 at Peach State Speedway.
Yancey Power Equipment Pole Sitter, Joey Senter, lead the first 10 laps before giving it up on lap 10. Snellville's Paul Kelley ,then took the lead on lap 11 and lead only one lap before Senter regained the lead. Senter lead until lap 37, when eventual winner Kevin Perry took the lead
and never looked back. Most of the 13 cautions were individual car spins.
GAS points leader Doug Stevens finished 5th but was penalized 1 lap at the end for changing a tire under caution that GAS Official ruled wasn't flat. The penalty relegated him to a 13th place finish.

Local Division Results
ICEMAN - Phil Peppers lead all 20 laps in the Iceman feature for another win in 2005. Following Peppers were Brandon Woods, Brian Hardman and Richard Herring.
SPORTSMAN - Chris Cochrum took the lead on lap 19 of the 25 lap feature from Bobby East to win the Sportsman feature. Following Cochrum were East, Michael Massey, David Murphy, Greg Ashburn, Chuck Cooper, Keith Barrett, Terry Medley and Bill Adams.
MINI STOCK - Spanky Hicks passed Gerald Jones on lap two, winning the 20 lap Min Stock feature. Rounding out the field were Tad Hicks, Brad Burdette, Jimmy Bales, Gerald Jones, Corey Hardy,Timmy Sorlow, Wayne Penny, James Nash and Warren Carlson.
