World Crown Weekend To Be Local Points Event
It was announced recently that the World Crown Weekend on November 9-11th WILL be included in the local division points for the 2007 season. This will make the racing more exciting for the fans, and promote larger fields to come out and be involved for the weekend. This is the highlight of our season, and we need a good representation and support from all of local divisions to help the track to showcase itself. We've had good racing here all season, and we think all the people that will be coming from all parts of the Eastern U.S. deserve to see some of the great drivers, and great local talent we have racing here on a regular basis at Peach State.
In addition all the purses have been increased from the normal weekly sizes, yet not increased the laps they have to run. It's a win-win all the way around.
The schedule right now looks to be qualifying on Friday, and racing on Saturday for all the local division cars.
