2008 Schedule Released.
Peach State Speedway has released it's tentative 2008 schedule of events for 2008.
As most of you are aware we have already started having a monthly Car show and Swap Meet, and so far it has had fairly good success. We will continue to have this event every month throughout 2008. Several months it will coincide with race dates at Peach State so we hope many fans will come and make a day of it at the Speedway.
Also on tap is five stops from the GAS series. The series put on some outstanding action here at Peach State last season, and we expect nothing less in the coming year. Also on tap will be two stops by the NVRA Vintage race series. The weeks they race will also be on conjunction with Car Show dates, so all you old car enthusiast will have a great day on those days. Seeing the old iron on display in it's original form, or even as a street rod,.. and then sitting in the grandstands and watching a racing version of of the old mechanical wonders battle it out on Peach States 1/2 mile high banks.
Also we are working on having the high horse power sprint cars on display once, and maybe even twice. And you'll see the ASA stars root and gouge for at least 100 laps around the fast Peach State oval.
Also in the works are plans to try and have a few concerts, and if all goes well, try and revive the Jackson County Fair here at the Speedway.
SO as you can see; the schedule is up... but it will be expanding and growing as the year goes along. We hope to see all of you a LOT at the race track.
